Harlan Hill has over 35 years of experience as a banker and a trainer, and is President of Hill Financial Education. Hill has taught at Pimley & Pimley’s investment and commercial banking clients in the United States, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia.
 
Hill began his career at InterFirst Corporation’s U.S. & Canadian commercial lending division, with large corporate account and business development responsibilities in the Southeastern U.S., moving to InterFirst's oil and gas lending group in 1985. InterFirst was subsequently acquired by Bank of America.
 
Hill then spent six years as a relationship manager in the Energy group of Bank One, Texas, N.A.  As a relationship manager, Hill was responsible for underwriting and closing senior debt positions, implementing commodity risk credit enhancement products, and developing comprehensive relationship plans for publicly traded and privately held middle market oil and gas producers in Texas and Oklahoma markets. Bank One was ultimately acquired by JP Morgan Chase Bank.
 
Prior to establishing Hill Financial Education, Hill was Vice President and Manager of Bank One Corporation's Commercial Banking Development Department, responsible for executive course development and delivery of corporate wide credit and marketing education programs. 
 
Hill received a BA and a BBA from Southern Methodist University, and an MBA in Real Estate Finance from the University of North Texas.
